Meeting a psychotherapist in family can sound like a weird idea, but it's definitely not. Sometimes it's very hard, and the situations can sound impossible to solve with good solutions, despite or in spite of the differences of all the family members.
The therapist, trained to support families, has to welcome the complaints of the family in general, but also every single questions of anyone. It's highly practicable that some family members could be invited to go further, through an Individual Therapy, and/or through a Couple Therapy.
A Family Therapy can have a few sessions or more, depending on needs. The Family Therapy is available for two members (for example one parent and one child). I personally receive in my own practice families up to 6 members.
